Amsterdam Open Air 2024 will take place on June 1st and June 2nd at Gaasperpark, Amsterdam.

Please note: Our entrance closes at 19:00 on both days.

Recycle tokens:
At Amsterdam Open Air we use a token recycle system. As our visitor, you play a crucial part in our Recycle plan!
At the entrance, you will receive a recycle token for a first free cup, can or bottle. With every new drink, you can hand in your old cup, can, or bottle, so you don’t have to pay an extra deposit. When you're not in need of a new drink, you can hand in your cup, can, or bottle at one of our many recycle points or at the bar and get a recycle token in return.
This way, together, we make sure Amsterdam Open Air stays clean!

Minimum age:
The minimum age at Amsterdam Open Air is 18 years old, ID is required.

Can I exit and re-enter AOA?
With a Day Ticket, it’s not possible to exit and re-enter after you’ve entered the festival grounds. With a Weekender ticket, you can enter the festival one time on Saturday and one time on Sunday. It’s not possible to exit and re-enter on the same day after you’ve entered the festival grounds. Please keep in mind that the entrance of Amsterdam Open Air will close at 19.00 for Weekenders and Day Tickets.

Food & drinks:
It’s not allowed to bring your own food or drinks to Amsterdam Open Air. We have a great selection of tasty and healthy food and drinks. Good to know: Amsterdam Open Air is 100% vegetarian.
Do you have food allergies or other questions about food at Amsterdam Open Air? Please contact us at info@amsterdamopenair.nl. We are not looking for caterers.

First aid:
There’s a medical aid station at Amsterdam Open Air! The First Aid Post is staffed with emergency medical professionals and you are very much welcome for any health issues; from aspirins, plasters to drug related issues. Don’t be afraid to tell them what kind of drugs or alcohol you’ve used, everything you say to our medical staff is strictly confidential.

Bringing medicines:
Bringing your medication is permitted only in conjunction with a doctor’s note.

Kiss & Ride:
If somebody is bringing you to the festival, please use Loosdrechtdreef 7 as a GPS destination and follow the signs to 'Kiss & Ride'. The Kiss & Ride drop-off point is located near the festival Entrance West. When leaving the festival, follow Exit West to reach the ‘Kiss & Ride' designated pick-up point.

Identification:
An ID is required to enter AOA. Please keep in mind that a copy of your ID doesn't count as a valid ID. It's only possible to identify yourself with a valid ID such as your passport or driver's license.

Cashcards:
Amsterdam Open Air is a cashless event, which means you can only pay by card at our bars, foodtrucks and stands. In the case you’d prefer to pay otherwise, for example with cash, you can purchase one of our cash cards at the cash register.
How it works:
On your first order, you have to top-up the card with a minimum of €30,-. Afterwards, you can top-up the card with a minimum of €10,- as you wish.
If you have money left on your card, you can request a refund after the festival. This process will start the 7th of June. In order to request a refund, you will be charged €2,- administration costs. The refunds will be processed until 2 weeks after the start of the refund period.
If you still have some balance left on your card, you can get it back by making an account at www.mijnkniponline.nl. Choose the option ‘Register’ and then ‘Payment card’.
This will be possible until two weeks after the event. If you have any problems creating an account or collecting your money, you can get in touch with help@twelve.eu.

Free water:
On the festival grounds, there are tappoints where you can fill a bottle or cup with tap water for free.

Drugs:
The possession or dealing of hard drugs is prohibited at the festival. If there is any evidence of overt use and/or possession, confiscation of the drugs will follow and/or the offender will be handed over to the police. The possession and/or use of small amounts (max. 5 grams) of soft drugs for personal use will be tolerated, with the exception of pre-rolled joints.

Disability access:
We have a special entrance for wheelchairs. This is the main entrance: closest to metrostation Gaasperplas, the taxi’s and our Kiss & Ride. Note that the second entrance (East) is not accessible for wheelchairs, due to the small bridge. Almost all roads on the festival grounds are accessible with wheelchairs. Lost & Found:
All lost items will be collected by iLost: https://ilost.co/org/amsterdam-open-air. Check their website after the event to check if your lost phone, key or grannies old necklace was found.
