Fingerprint is a Dutch all-star formation led by trumpeter Jan van Duikeren. With its roots in nu-jazz, funk, soul and gospel, the quintet create the ‘fingerprint’ which showcases van Duikeren’s musical vision, infusing drive and skill to their live sets. By sharing their respective inspirations the members operate as a collective. The band regularly welcomes prominent guests; for this album presentation guitarist Jesse van Ruller will join the stage. Jan van Duikeren is one of the most acclaimed trumpet soloists in the Netherlands and his collaborations have included global stars such as Candy Dulfer, Lonnie Smith and Joe Jackson.
