Am­s­ter­dam United cel­e­brates Pride: the stage is (y)ours June 30st Am­s­ter­dam United in­vites you to our Pride event at SEXY­LAND. In this cel­e­bra­tion of queer­ness we cre­ate a plat­form for young queer and/​​or trans cre­atives. Of course, we should not for­get what pride stands for: it is an on­go­ing protest in which we strive for ac­cep­tance and safety. Art can be a form of protest and ex­press­ing your­self as well. In this event we fo­cus on com­ing to­gether and cre­at­ing a safe en­vi­ron­ment in which our cre­ativ­ity and love for each other are para­mount. This evening will be filled with di­ver­sity in both art forms as well as cre­atives that are all part of this com­mu­nity. Vi­sual artists have a place to ex­hi­bit, singers, drag per­form­ers, po­ets and dancers take the stage and DJ’s close the evening with some fab­u­lous tunes. So come to this event to ex­press, con­nect and sup­port.
