SasaHara (they/them) is a French-Algerian artist based in Amsterdam. They work with drag-transformism, text and visual work with an obsession for mythologies. Their exploration goes to the making of queer mythologies, raging to the realization that the ever-existing queerness has been kept out of the known mythologies. When patriarchy marginalizes the queer bodies and stories, SasaHara gives space for them: they write these untold past lives, they create drag monsters to embody them, and they perform it for all to see.
