Doka, Wibautstraat, Amsterdam, Netherlands

After years of hard work the first release for Jiwa Jiwa finally sees the light of day. What better way to celebrate than with a party in the sound bar in Amsterdam, Doka. Dea is no stranger to hifi bars. He helped create Studio Eksotika in Bali and has played across the globe showcasing his cosmic Asian infused disco sounds. While Dea prefers to be more in the background he has been steadily creating a name for himself with most recently a release on Peggy Gou’s Gudu Records. In Indonesia he’s been mostly focussing on production work and recently did a record together with Diskoria. Where he collaborated with Adinda, which worked out so well that they created the duo Precious Bloom. Highlighting Asian city pop sounds but always firmly rooted in a uniquely Indonesian sound with a touch of experimental electronics. Sekan is no stranger to the Doka basement and he’s more than honoured to showcase you the wide variety the Indonesian archipelago and diaspora has to offer. Ending the night will be a b2b between Dea & Sekan spanning sounds from across the globe. __ ‣ Pre-sale – €12,- (incl. service costs):

‣ Limited amount of door tickets available for €12.50 ‣ ID check is mandatory ‣ 18+ ‣ 19:00 – 00:00 ‣ Limited capacity, maximum vibes __ Doka is the home base for immersive – sonic –experiences.
