The Australians band Bad//Dreems plays a wild mix of punk and rock, mixed with influences from the Australian rock-history, while drawing inspiration from American legends like Wipers and DEVO. The band tackles subjects like isolation, boredom in the suburbs and the male identity. Their newest album HOO HA! saw the light in 2023. The album is a collection of literate pub rock, where high and low culture collides to paint a picture of the current Australian political climate and it’s questionable history. Bad//Dreems will play the VERA Mainstage on the 5th of July. Support No Brains played our Kelderbar back in October, and now they’ll return with their chaotic and energetic garagepunk. No plan, mission or message, the band just wants to entertain themselves and play LOUD.
