Make your own kombucha

On Wednesday, 17 September our volunteers Eli and Jesper will lead a workshop on how to make your own kombucha!

What's kombucha?

It is a fermented (and a little effervescent) drink, made of black tea. It is highly versatile, as you can add juice, spices, fruit, or other flavorings. of choice. Kombucha is produced by fermentation of sugared tea using a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast, the Scoby.

The Scoby is your starter, bring your own container at the workshop, and we will hand you some Scoby over to bring home, and make your own kombucha!

The workshop will run from 19:00 until 20:00, in parallel to our Wasteless Dinner, so join us for a delicious zero waste meal and then get into the crafty art of brewing kombucha.
