Nour droomt vaak over haar vader, die is achtergebleven in het land waar ze is geboren. In haar droom staat haar vader in het licht van de maan en kijkt hij naar de oceaan. Langzaam buigt hij zijn knieën en spreidt zijn armen. Er komen vleugels tevoorschijn. Hij ademt in, zet af en... vliegt. Nour often dreams about her father, who has stayed behind in the country where she was born. In this dream, her father stands in the bright moonlight and watches the ocean. Slowly, he bends his knees and spreads his arms. Wings appear, he breaths in, he pushes off, and he flies. But baba has never returned to her and mama. Perhaps, his wings have become weary and has he stranded somewhere. Nour wants to save him, so she tries to escape the asylum centre to search for her baba. Her attempts to escape fail again and again. Until one evening, after she had that same dream again, she wakes up startling and notices something strange. She has gotten wings herself. Studio Figur is Noufri Bachdim’s and Pluch Venema’s young company. In a completely personal theatre style, they create performances with puppets, live videos, and music.
