Jeff Young lived in the Amsterdam squat scene in the early 1980s, a time he captures san pareil in his latest book, Wild Twin. 

Richard Foster lives in Leiden and works Rtterdm. His autofiction novels Flower Factory and The Punk Rock Birdwatching Club chronicle the counterculture of the Bollenstreek and Randstad in the early 2000s.
