Eddie Chacon is an American singer, songwriter and producer, known as one half of the iconic duo Charles & Eddie, who conquered the world in the 1990s with the hit ‘Would I Lie to You?’. After years out of the spotlight, he made an impressive comeback as a solo artist with the album ‘Pleasure, Joy and Happiness’ (2020), produced by John Carroll Kirby. Chacon’s music combines soul, jazz and minimalist electronics, characterized by his warm voice and introspective lyrics. His third album, ‘Lay Low’, produced by Nick Hakim, will be released at the end of January 2025. On it he explores themes such as mortality, loss and growth through his signature introspective R&B. In 2022 he shone at Super-Sonic Jazz Festival together with John Carroll Kirby, and on March 25, 2025 he returns to Paradiso with his new work.
