Beethoven & Beyond Program: It is fascinating for classical musicians to add new perspectives to the standard repertoire they perform. Enriching existing works by combining them with something new creates unique settings that enhance the beauty of the originals. This program begins with a sonata from the classical repertoire: Beethoven’s Sonata Op. 10 No. 3 in D Major. The second part takes Beethoven’s work as a starting point for a collage incorporating free improvisation, jazz, and voice, all while maintaining a connection to Beethoven’s original elements.
