Join us for another edition of Humans & Friends - our series of relaxed concerts, featuring the musicians of Jam With Humans and sometimes their friends.

This edition of Humans & Friends will feature the special guests ASTIRoids and the Jam With Humans Orchestra 🤘

ASTIRoids
Freshly arrived in Amsterdam, ChebManu's mind got blown away by an improvised rapping show at Boom Chicago. Many years later he would start improv theater himself and take his first improvised rap workshops from North Coast NYC. Wanting to learn and practice these skills further, but having more fun with other players, he founded the Amsterdam School of Theatrically Improvised Rappers (ASTIR) and started organizing regular jam sessions. He started first in his own living room with RavyOllie and DrMishMash, but eventually the group started growing bigger and bigger and they needed to practice at Q-Factory or CREA. They went several times on stage thanks to TagOutTheater, but also at CREA or Boom Chicago comedy festival. They now count more than 15 members, including a drummer, a beatboxer and a beatmaker.

We like making music that will keep you on the edge of your seat. That's not boring. That will bring you along on a journey. And that will make you feel things, from laughing off your seat to being glued to it while being carried in introspective thoughts.

This is a pay-what-you-want show, which means that we'll ask for a voluntary contribution at the end.
It's also a non-ticketed show, which means that the audience will be let into the room for as long as there are available seats - first come, first served.
It's also a family-friendly show, so bring your family, friends, enemies and pets of the goldfish variety.

🎤Davide Verdigris
Born and raised in Sardinia, Davide is a master of harmonic vocal improvisation. He's most known for leaving audiences mesmerised with his intense and dreamy voice, paired with an intense breath-taking stage presence.

🪈Albert Manders & Daniel (by night)
Albert and Daniel have bumped into each other in 2016 in Amsterdam and were immediately impressed with how two humans with such different backgrounds could share so much of their interests - and they've been playing together (on flute and drums, respectively) every since.

We are Jam With Humans, an organisation based in Amsterdam and focused in teaching and performing music. Our shows are creative, risky, emotional and unique. They're also seen as a social event, attempting to bridge the gap bewteen performers and the audience.

While we focus on music, our shows are often multi-disciplinary, often presenting new music in the context of theatrical, comedic, dance and variety performances.

We are specialists in identifying and filling gaps in the music educational offer. We try to only teach what others don't teach, while making our classes and workshops a safe space where risk, fun and sharing of knowledge is encouraged.

When you come to a Jam With Humans show, you are going to first and foremost see humans, who are going to showcase through music how unique and unreplaceable they are.
