Meet the Amazing Comics

Daniel Yazbek - Daniel Yazbek is a stand-up comedian from South Africa. He has quickly found himself a home in the Amsterdam comedy scene through his witty storytelling and charming crowd work. He was traumatized as a child – but which comedian/human wasnt?! He does a stellar job of hiding it, making the audience as comfortable as he is on stage.

Angela Bartorillo - Angela is a comedian, improviser and writer based in Amsterdam. Hailing from Florida and living abroad for over a decade creates a springboard for commentary on the US, expat life, and life as a millennial, a woman, and a human in this complex era in which we live. Angela shares views on generational differences, societal oddities, and anxiety about all of the above.

Christos Sougk - Christos Sougk comes from Greece, from where they eventually had to migrate due to a series of allergic reactions to sunlight. He strives for the representation of people with nasal voices and broken English in popular culture.Christos started stand-up in the Netherlands after receiving a series of visions featuring a talking horse.He has since played in hundreds of stages across Europe and is a regular host in shows and festivals, including the comedy stages of Amsterdam Pride and the Eendracht Festival in Rotterdam.Since 2022 he is the owner and show runner of LaughPlug Comedy in Rotterdam.In 2023, a local media outlet named him as one of the “8 Rotterdammers to watch”, along with 7 people who have actual day jobs. He’s still wondering if anyone is watching.

Where other comics strive for relatability, Christos has been leaving audiences either in stitches or in utter confusion;with an absurd comedic style that pushes the boundaries of good taste and decency.

Ákos Szabolcs Erdôsi - My name is Ákos, I am a 24 yearl old political science student and stand up comedian. People find my comedy versatile as I combine jokes about big social issues through personal anecdotes, adding to them a bit of pazazz. Coming from Hungary I find it important to represent social and sexual minorities in comedy, this way trying to show that laughter can connect us all 🤘

Mazi Mikołajczyk - Meet Mazi, the freshest face in comedy, who swears she was funny even before hitting the stage this year. Straight from the heart of Poland, she's like a sour candy—bitter on the outside, but oh-so-sweet on the inside.
Drawing inspiration from her own adventures in the rollercoaster of life, Mazi serves up her unapologetic opinions on the complexities of relationships. Every man she meets might end up as fodder for her stand-up.

Asia Burganova - Asia is a queer Ukrainian stand-up comedian. They use all the pronouns simply because it's free. If you meet them at the party, they will waste 5 minutes of your life talking about the etymological connection between Sphinx and sphincter. Secret obsessions: Spice Girls and documentaries about cults.

Its combination of comedians you have never seen before. This one is going to be a riot.
