After the successful poetry nights of previous years, we are happy to once again organize such an event! This time, it will be a night to inspire each other with words of resistance!

The evening will kick off with a piece written and performed by spoken word artist Eman, she will share with us her beautiful words of courage and strength!  

Afterwards there will be an open mic and everybody will be able to share a poem. This can consist of something you’ve written yourself, or a quote from someone else. Of course, you can also just come, listen and enjoy other attendees’ contributions.  
At the end we will have some music and drinks.  

Comrades, come gather your favourite poems and join us for an evening of inspiration, camaraderie and a recharging of the mind!  

Language / Taal: English, but Dutch contributions are also welcome! / Engels, maar Nederlandse bijdragen zijn ook erg welkom!

NieuwLand is wheelchair accessible but our toilets are not!! (we are working on it). The nearest public spaces with wheelchair accessible toilets are Tropen Museum (open Tuesday-Saturday 10-17H) and hotel The Manor (open 24/7).
