Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at BASH, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the reliability and performance of our software products. Working alongside developers and product teams, you’ll help detect, resolve, and prevent issues, ensuring our platform consistently meets top quality standards.

About BASH

We are a team of eight working from an office on the Leidsegracht in Amsterdam to create the online platform for social events, already used by tens of thousands of people. By 2025, we aim to expand to events across the Netherlands, from the smallest pub quiz to the largest festival. To support this growth, we are looking to add a front-end engineer to our team.

Responsibilities

Test Plans: Set up test plans and strategies based on project requirements.

Developing Test Cases: Create detailed test cases to evaluate functionality, performance, and security.

Running Tests: Perform manual and automated tests to identify bugs, errors, or irregularities.

Reporting Bugs: Identify and document any bugs found, providing clear reports to the engineering team.

Test Automation: Develop and maintain test scripts for repeatable testing.

Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to understand and resolve issues, improving the overall quality of our software.

Who we are looking for

Communication: Strong skills for collaboration with engineers and product managers.

Programming Knowledge: JavaScript, Java, Python, or a similar language for automation.

Detail-Oriented: Sharp analytical skills and attention to detail.

Testing Tools: Familiarity with relevant tools and methods.

Fulltime: 40 hours per week.
