Repere invites local house labels Unsilenced & Locked-In, along with the esteemed record caravan Tale of Bus, to take part in our first community gathering within the gardens of Contact. With high hopes for a sunny day, the three local labels are invited to showcase their sound in a 2-hour set and connect in the 'broedplaats.' Expect an array of wonderful tunes from Sam van der Toure (Locked-In), Lilley & Malom (Unsilenced), Sabe & ar:moni:e (Repere), and Daan Donk (Tale of Bus), plenty of record sharing, and smiles all around.

Tale of Bus will also open their record caravan throughout the day, giving you the opportunity to explore their collection and leave with a gem in your hands. There's zero chance of departing with an unfulfilled appetite after going through their crates.

If your appetite desires a freshly baked focaccia, those will be served all day by the local Italian pizzeria. Make sure to grab one to fulfill all your senses.

Sound will be delivered by the mighty custom-made soundsystem, Sol Systems. The Transylvanian-born 'red system' will provide an intimate 4-point surround experience on the dancefloor, offering an opportunity for all labels to showcase the deeper textures and layers of their favorite releases.

The event will be held entirely outdoors, in the gardens of Contact.

The ticket fee also includes a €2.50 membership fee, which goes towards improving Contact as a cultural and event venue.

With‎ 2023‎ behind‎ us,‎ we‎ eagerly‎ step‎ into‎ a‎ new‎ year‎ of‎ events‎ at‎ one‎ of‎ Amsterdam's‎ finest‎ locations,‎ Contact.‎ This‎ time‎ around,‎ we'll‎ be‎ exploring‎ the‎ depths‎ of‎ the‎ world‎ of‎ (RO)minimalism,‎ featuring‎ a‎ curated‎ lineup‎ of‎ artists‎ who‎ embody‎ the‎ essence‎ of‎ our‎ core‎ sound.

⁣Starring‎ on‎ the‎ line-up‎ is‎ Bucharest-based‎ Gojnea76‎ (aka‎ G76),‎ a‎ well‎ known‎ figure‎ of‎ the‎ Romanian‎ underground.‎ With‎ a‎ history‎ of‎ performances‎ at‎ festivals‎ like‎ Sunwaves‎ &‎ Electric‎ Castle,‎ Gojnea‎ will‎ be‎ landing‎ the‎ first‎ time‎ behind‎ the‎ dutch‎ decks,‎ bringing‎ his‎ signature‎ surrealist‎ techy‎ sound‎ to‎ the‎ forefront.

⁣Making‎ her‎ highly‎ anticipated‎ debut‎ at‎ a‎ Repere‎ event,‎ the‎ rising‎ talent‎ from‎ the‎ Dominican‎ Republic,‎ Hannecart,‎ graces‎ the‎ decks.‎ Influenced‎ heavily‎ by‎ the‎ Romanian‎ scene,‎ she‎ will‎ showcase‎ her‎ evolving‎ style,‎ characterised‎ by‎ its‎ craftiness‎ and‎ a‎ diverse,‎ powerful‎ sound.

⁣Adding‎ to‎ the‎ lineup‎ are‎ the‎ longstanding‎ Repere‎ residents‎ Radu‎ &‎ Sank,‎ who‎ will‎ contribute‎ to‎ the‎ showcase‎ with‎ their‎ unique‎ vision‎ of‎ minimalism.‎ We‎ are‎ excited‎ to‎ see‎ them‎ return‎ behind‎ the‎ decks.
⁣As‎ customary‎ in‎ our‎ previous‎ editions,‎ the‎ immersive‎ sound‎ experience‎ will‎ be‎ provided‎ by‎ Sol‎ Systems,‎ a‎ custom‎ sound‎ system‎ project‎ crafted‎ in‎ the‎ heart‎ of‎ Transylvania.

Repere invites Gojnea76, Hannecart, Radu, Sank

Repere returns on the 24th of November with an intimate showcase at the maker space of Contactweg 47. This time we’ll be jumping deep into realms of house and minimal music, exploring the subtle intricacies that characterize both genres. We’ve prepared a line-up with a dynamic blend of Romanian and local talents to immerse you into an inspiring sonic journey.

We welcome ‘The Apricots’, a musical exploration project formed by Alexandra & DJ Slimfit aka Pîrvu. The Romanian duo & couple traverse the spectrum of ambient, experimental, slower beats realm and dancefloor-oriented rhythms within their synergetic performances.

After over four years since her last Repere appearance, Luna Ludmila returns with her new live set concept, with a performance specially crafted for this showcase.

Local heroes and minimal enthusiasts, Similar ETA, will join to unveil their ‘local’ take on the minimal sound, and the sound of their Amsterdam-based label, Minim Productions. In support, Repere’s Sabe & Sank will join in with a B2B set accompanied by another Romanian hero, Drix, who will close off the night with his signature punchy style.

Sound will be provided by the Transylvanian custom sound system project, Sol Systems, and lightning will be showcased by LiveLeds, a custom project built within the Contactweg 47 maker space.

Repere x Lazy Reflex Complex In an unexpected communion, Repere pairs up with the techno-based label Lazy Reflex Complex to provide a day full of electronic diversity. The two will explore the broad spectrum encompassing two genres, minimal house & techno, and attempt to build a bridge between the two. This will be an outdoor event in the backyard of the Contactweg 47 Makerspace.
