Every Friday and Saturday we invite our favourite selectors to Canvas. Ascent to the seventh floor and enjoy a night with friends, food, drinks and good music!

Organisation:
Sentinel Island Disco is a dj crew, club night and record label based in Amsterdam. It’s also a semi-fictional island where eccentric party rituals or bacchanals can last for weeks. If you want to know what that looks like, you’ll have to dock at Sentinel Island. Someone like Barbara Boeing or San Soda or likes to go there too. Think obscure soca, ecstatic (afro) disco and deep percussive grooves mixed with classic Detroit and Chicago influenced house and lots of italo.

De beste dj’s en een onvergetelijke sfeer. Met liefde door ons geselecteerd voor jullie (en ons eigen) dansgenot. Deze avond met een all-nighter van Sentinel Island Disco.

Deze bruisende avond markeert een nieuwe editie van Club EKKO, waar een tropische golf van muzikale charme op ons afkomt. Sentinel Island Disco, bekend om hun energieke performances, zullen de zaal vullen met een mix van Braziliaanse klanken, meeslepende disco en opzwepende house. Met hun sets op festivals zoals Lowlands en Down The Rabbit Hole, en in lokale hotspots zoals de Nar en Schietclub, nemen ze je de hele nacht mee in een clubnacht vol warmte, dans en onverwachte muzikale wendingen.

On Sentinel Island, the inhabitants practice eccentric party rituals. If you want to see what that looks like, you'll have to dock at the shores of Sentinel Island. Someone like Barbara Boeing or Lipelis also likes to go there. Think obscure soca, rattling highlife and forgotten bongo records from Sentinel's dark jungles. During ADE, they're transforming Sissi's, a former school building next to the Amstel river, to a proper nightclub suited for the biggest party ritual the island has ever seen.

After 2 sold-out editions the island is ready for another night of magic on the dancefloor. The bacchanal is served by Brazilian top-notch selector Barbara Boeing, the hottest of peppers Ajuma and a special session between our own Bongo Barns and soulmate Redleg On A Roll.
The Steppin' Into Tomorrow crew is also present and has something special in the mix for us. Don't miss!
