He is a German comedian over for the show from Cologne, he was featured in the „laughs in translation“ documentary about Comedy around the world, and did a TEDX-talk about "Creating world peace - one laugh at a time“.

Traveling around the world, he learned that laughter is universal and should always be encouraged. On stage he is quick witted with dry observational humor, occasional outbursts of anger and surprising improvisational skills. He is the winner of several comedy awards and boasts several TV appearances.

He was winner of the “Master Comedy Slam“ and the “Kabarettbundesliga” and has also appeared on German TV shows “Nightwash”, "NDR Comedy Contest“ and "Comedy Lab“. He is a regular performer around Europe.

The show opener is the effervescent James Johnson (UK), with his quick wit, cheeky charm and ability to delicately hand out canapeģs, James Johnson is the perfect addition to any social function.

Before moving to the Netherlands, James worked in London’s glitzy West End, as the deputy manager of a Subway, where Sir Ian McKellen himself was a big fan of his foot-long special.

Now living in The Hague, James’ career is on the up, in his new role as a professional stair lift demonstrator for the elderly and infirm. When not performing stand-up, James can probably be found fireproofing his impressive collection of polyester shell suits. A regular performer and MC on the Netherlands comedy scene, James is bound to bring some outrageous glamour, and possibly gastroenteritis, to this evening's events.

Nigel's comedy is social commentary with a 'funny sauce', 'rough and ready' and not always for the faint hearted. For the last few years Nigel has toured all over Europe doing comedy in his mother tongue and founded (the now legendary) 'Stand-Up Antwerp' comedy club, bringing in top English language comedians from all over the world.
Nigel's act is sometimes political, sometimes observational but always engaged, furious and most of all hilariously funny.

Nigel has done support acts for international top comedians, Bill Burr, Dylan Moran and Tommy Tiernan. In 2022 Nigel appeared on the Comedy Stage of the amazing Sziget festival in Budapest.

Rachel takes you on a journey of her life in the Netherlands, blending her humorous observations with an insider's take on expat life. In her friendly, chatty, and relatable style, Rachel explores the sometimes perplexing, occasionally bewildering, and always entertaining experiences of living as an expat in the Netherlands. From unusual bra fittings to deciphering the seemingly unsexy Dutch language and embracing random traditions, Rachel navigates the cultural gap between her British roots and her adopted Dutch home.

Sharon Em (IR) - I Know a Guy:

‘I know a Guy’ is an exploration of what happens when a kidnapping is the result of a medical misdiagnosis, and a family secret is revealed way later than it should have been… causing Sharon Em to think very differently about some past bad relationship decisions… Which, given her new found knowledge, begs the question: had she known earlier what she knows today, could she have used it to her advantage? And would it have made her more of an arsehole? Does she actually owe some guys an apology?

‘I know a Guy’ is a hilariously introspective tale of family secrets, getting on with this thing called life, and making the best choices you can with the hand you have been dealt. The show explores a universal thread that ties us all together: the influence of family and upbringing and the human need for connection and belonging and how they don’t always work harmoniously together.
