The Dam Tot Dam loop is a running event held annually in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It features two main races: the 5 Engelse Mijl (Damloop by night) on September 21, 2024, and the 10 Engelse Mijl (NN Dam tot Damloop) on September 22, 2024. Participants can choose to run either the 5-mile or the 10-mile race, both of which take place on a road course. The event attracts runners from all over the world and is known for its festive atmosphere and beautiful course along the Amstel River.

The Damloop by night and Dam tot Damloop are always held in the penultimate weekend in September. The 38th edition of the Dam tot Damloop will start in 2024.

Every year, around 35,000 participants participate in the Dam tot Damloop. It is the largest running event of its kind in the Netherlands with 10 Miles (16.1 km) from the heart of Amsterdam to Zaandam. The youngest sports enthusiasts have also been thought of: children between 4 and 12 can run a distance of 0.6 or 2.2 km with the Mini Dam tot Damloop.

If running isn't your thing, there are plenty of other events to take part in. The various activities take place during the weekend of the Dam tot Damloop. Cyclists can participate in different routes from 40 to 145 km long and is plenty of entertainment for both participants and spectators.
