Taking place at the stunning The Garden Resort in Tisno, Croatia in the summer of 2025, Dekmantel Selectors is a very limited-capacity festival that will showcase the talents of some of the finest DJs in an intimate, picturesque environment. During daylight hours, the festival will take place within a small piece of beautiful coastline alongside the Adriatic Sea, while activities will shift to the much loved Barbarellas at night.

As bigger does not always equate better, some things flourish most when kept small. Over the years, it’s this notion that encapsulates the spirit of Dekmantel Selectors, returning next summer on August 21-25. The boundary-pushing music of artists — both seasoned and upcoming — we firmly believe in, a handful of stages, an intimate amount of people roaming the grounds, and the unceasingly stunning backdrop of Croatia’s coastline: as these elements come together for our yearly five-day gathering in Tisno, it’s maintaining that simplicity that makes the pieces fall into place.

It means the sun, crystal clear waters and secluded charm of The Garden make up for at least as much of the experience as the riveting sounds that bind us in this setting. That dancing one’s feet off to artists like Skee Mask, Elias Mazian, Batu, DJ MARIA., Sedef Adasï & John Beltran alternates with taking a dive in the ocean or hanging out under the trees. And, ultimately, that the faces of strangers that you’ve encountered on the first day, are that of familiars as we approach the festival’s apotheosis.

Secluded areas scattered across the terrain make up the base from which a manifold of sounds can fully sprout. There’s the seaside soothers at the Beach Bar during daytime, immersive listening at the Magnolia, and as the sun starts to dissolve into the water, the Voodoo’s frenzy, the rousing experiments of the Nest or waterside delight at the Beach Main, make for just the right amount of wandering you need.

The action doesn’t end at The Garden. We’re embarking for another string of the ever-illustrious boat parties, championed by clubs, radio stations, record labels, crews and collectives operating at the forefront of our scene — with Private Hearts, Refuge Worldwide, Timedance & Hamam nights as fresh new additions for 2025. Nocturnal dancers find refuge at Barbarella's Discotheque, our moonlit nightclub boasting extended sets that stretch till sunrise. And following up on last year’s debut, the return of our island party where some of our line-up’s most revered artists take their craft into a remote beachside setting. Dekmantel Ten brings back all familiar festival locations from previous years but also branches out with three days at Het HEM, a concert night at Oude Kerk Amsterdam, and a football tournament at Skatecafe Amsterdam. Landing at ISO Amsterdam for three festival parties, we’re teaming up with Belgium’s finest imprint STROOM on August 2nd, and music-art-technology platform Minimal Collective on August 3rd. Your final dance on August 4th is captained by Dekmantel friends from both the global and local scene. On top of that, each event at Lofi Amsterdam come with a secret second floor and unannounced extra lineup. For the 8th year in a row, the festival's vital Wednesday concerts and Thursday program land back at both of its familiar base: across the banks of the Amsterdam river Het IJ.

Dekmantel stages its annual concert at the Muziekgebouw concert hall, where Japanese composer and percussionist Midori Takada is joined on the bill by Bunnyhnna and Italian multi instrumentalist Alessandro Cortini. Staying on the banks of the IJ, the following day will continue to spotlight artists pushing the boundaries of electronic music beyond the dancefloor, with the likes of bar italia, Huerco S., Oklou, Rabih Beaini & Tomoko Mukaiyama, Moin, a.s.o., Bendik Giske and numerous others taking the stage at Parellel, Shelter and Bimhuis.

Bnnyhunna

Alessandro Cortini, Bnnyhunna, and Midori Takada will be performing at Dekmantel aan 't IJ. 

Alessandro Cortini is an Italian multi-instrumentalist and composer known for his innovative use of synthesizers and captivating soundscapes. He was a key member of the legendary industrial band Nine Inch Nails and has also worked on solo projects like SONOIO and blindoldfreak.

Bnnyhunna is an emerging Ghanaian musician and producer based in Amsterdam. He is influenced by hip-hop, R&B, jazz, and soul, and his debut project SINTHA was released in 2021.

Midori Takada, the queen of minimalist music, released the cult classic album 'Through the Looking Glass' in 1981. With 40 years of experience in the music industry, she continues to create captivating performances that transcend music and evoke cinematic experiences.
