The Hermetic Principles: Delve into the foundational Hermetic principles that underscore the interconnectedness of all things. Pythagoras and The Monochord: Enjoy a powerful monochord performance embedded in an electronic sound journey for the root chakra, inspired by the Pythagorean Source Book and Library. Discover the historical significance of the Music of the Spheres. Chymical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz: Engage with a specific tuning fork representing the allegoric romance and the sacred geometry of the flower of Metatron, inspired by Rosicrucian texts. Astrology and Planet Tones in Music: Immerse yourself in an electronic soundscape for the throat chakra, based on planetary tones. This segment draws inspiration from the illustration of the ventricular system by F. Basilius Valentinus. Ongoing program, walk-in anytime. Embassy of the Free Mind House with the Heads Museum Embassy of the Free Mind is about you and your place in the world. It hosts the Bibliotheca Philosophica Hermetica, a UNESCO library collection consisting of more than 28,000 special and ancient books. In the books and pictures, you can discover everything about Hermetic philosophy, alchemy, Rosicrucianism, Freemasonry, Kabbalah, mysticism, magic, astrology, tarot and more. Philosophers and free thinkers who have played a role in Amsterdam, such as Spinoza, find their place here. The museum is also home to an alchemical flower garden and a cafe. The Embassy of the Free Mind is located in the House with the Heads on the Keizersgracht, an atmospheric historic canal house built in 1622.
