On the 2nd of May, Naomi Pacifique shares her short film 'after a room', made in Amsterdam in 2021 and screened at both Locarno Film Festival and San Sebastian Film Festival, and performs songs from her album 'look, the wind is coming from us,' alongside filmmaker and musician Marieke Elzerman. Join us for a juicy evening of bedrooms, tenderness, and vulnerability. Naomi Pacifique is a Swiss-Dutch artist working across film, music, poetry and visual art, on the theme of intimacy. Across the arts, her work interests itself in intimacy and deep ecology. Her last short film, 'after a room', was awarded the Pardino d'Argento Swiss Life at Locarno Film Festival, among other awards and screenings, and she is currently developing her first feature film, supported by Ikusmira Berriak, Locarno Film Festival and ECAM.
