10 JAAR - holy shit - voelt als de druilerige januari avond van gister dat we op Mart’s studentenkamer, Rick & Morty kijkend, Dakterras componeerden. Swifty was ontstaan. Het bracht ons mega vette dingen: Q-music, Solar festival, de Ziggo Dome en (studenten)feesten & partijen door het hele land. Is stoppen op ons hoogtepunt wat ons definieert? Wie weet, want na de release van onze eerste EP ‘Nou En?’ en een nationale doorbraak in volle gang, besloot Lisse zijn heil in het Oostblok te zoeken. Er bleek meer te bestaan dan het Groninger leven.

Fast forward naar 2026: toch nog een debuutalbum ‘_Wat Nu?._ Wie had dat gedacht? Wij waren in ieder geval sceptisch, want muziek en het studentenleven waren een stuk makkelijker te combineren. Maar na afgelopen 3 jaar elke dinsdag samen te komen en af en toe een nummertje uit te brengen, kunnen we eindelijk ons volledige werk online zetten!

De aanhouder wint. _Wat Nu?_ is geen handleiding voor het leven, maar een soundtrack voor iedereen die zich net zo hard afvraagt wat de f\*\*\* er aan de hand is in de wereld. Twijfels die komen met 30 worden, geopolitieke spanningen, een burn-out, heel veel dure spullen kopen en onzekerheden wegdansen in de club.

Naast onze release valt er nog meer te celebreren: ons 10 jarig jubileum, kick-off & finale van onze afscheidstournee, daadwerkelijke big 3-0’s (Nico & Mart). Afscheidstournee?! Ja lieve mensen, dit wordt toch echt de allerlaatste keer als Swifty. Deze zomer gaan we allemaal onze eigen weg, Nico (Brazilië), Lisse (VS) & Mart (Utrecht) slaan hun vleugels uit. After two sold-out editions during Amsterdam Dance Event, OBSCUUR returns to De Toekomstmuziek for a double night program in 2025.

Friday 24 October We start the weekend with a focus on hard house, trance, and early rave sounds, featuring Kling&Klang, Jim Jonathan, Prauze, Amøn, and Jessie Dols. Expect fast tempos, nostalgic energy, and a packed dancefloor.
