Lizz Wright is a celebrated vocalist with a unique voice described as smooth and dark. Her music reflects America's cultural fabric and transcends social differences, offering love and a deep sense of humanity. Raised in Georgia, she drew inspiration from her southern upbringing and her experiences in a church where her father was a preacher. At a young age, Wright gained national recognition for her tribute concerts to Billie Holiday and released successful albums that topped the charts. In 2022, she launched her own independent record label called Blues & Greens Records, with a focus on empowering artists and promoting sustainable and fair business practices in the music industry.
