Tiny Terrace Thursdays, a cherished series of intimate concerts, expands its journey from the private terraces of Florence and Amsterdam to the creative embrace of Toqueur. This new chapter, curated by Sophie in collaboration with Toqueur, celebrates the expansion of our musical gatherings into a public, yet intimately curated, space. Featuring a selection of diverse performances per evening, Tiny Terrace transcends its setting, fostering connections through the universal language of music and art. It's a place to not just listen, but to share moments, drinks and snacks, and the magic that happens when people, music and art come together. Join us for a unique blend of artistry and intimacy at Toqueur, and be part of the ongoing story of Tiny Terrace Thursdays. Line-Up Josefien de Waele A brief harp performance in a children's program was enough to captivate Josefien De Waele at a young age. Her interest in the harp quickly turned into her passion which she has pursued since the age of 9, leading to formal studies under notable harpists at the Conservatorium of Amsterdam where she graduated in 2022. Her talent has been recognized with several awards, including the 1st prize and grand prix d'Honneur soloist award at the 'Concours International Jeunes talents en musique classique’ in 2021, and she has performed as a soloist in prestigious venues across Europe. Josefien’s orchestral experience includes roles with the European Union Youth Orchestra and the Koninklijk Concertgebouw Orchestra. She also performs in a duo 'L'Oiseau-Lyre' with the French flutist Camille Schneegans, winning first prize at the 'Kamermuziekconcours Gelre'. Nic van Graan South African-born Nic van Graan is an independent singer-songwriter and producer now based in Amsterdam where he has quickly made a name for himself on the local music scene. Formerly the frontman of acclaimed indie-pop band Year of Dogs, Nic launched his solo project in The Netherlands under his own name. Drifting between a whimsical indie-folk and light-hearted bedroom rock sound, he is on a mission to carve out new sonic landscapes where his aim is to create the most beautiful music he possibly can. Verdigris Verdigris is a queer singer/songwriter, coach, and sound artist currently based in Amsterdam. Originating from the enchanting island of Sardinia, his upbringing was immersed in the ancient indigenous traditions of his community. His music intricately weaves together the evocative harmonies of Mediterranean acapella choirs with the soulful vocals of R&B and spatial electronic beats. Through his lyrics, he enjoys exploring dualities such as darkness and light, death and rebirth, lust and loss. His poetry draws inspiration from the rich tapestry of tales and myths of his homeland.
