En ook dit jaar maakt Reel Rock weer een stop bij Monk! De selectie bestaat uit drie korte films over het klimmen van de Cobra Crack in Squamish, een 18-daagse tocht op de Torre Central in Patagonia, en het najagen van een onmogelijke droom: de eerste beklimming van een 5.15 (9a+). Deze verhalen worden verteld met de nodige dosis actie en drama, en met een vleugje romantiek. De films zijn Engels gesproken met Nederlandse ondertiteling. Zin in een filmavondje?
