CINEMA COLOMBIANO WORM 25 Anniversary Celebrations kickoff with films, music and empanadas! Early bird alert! Get your 12 euro combi-ticket before August 19 and enjoy the whole day and night programme! On the 7th of September, CINEMA COLOMBIANO returns with their annual film festival in WORM Rotterdam. WORM is celebrating its 25th anniversary, so the team has prepared something special for this year’s edition. Aside from the indoor film programme, there’s going to be a Colombian block party outside on the Boomgaardsstraat, centred around a 3 meter-high picó. A picó is a typical sound system from the northern coast of Colombia, and we are honoured to invite El Mágico Baobab – the only Dutch picó – to join in the festivities! Inbetween the films and in the evening, you’ll be able to enjoy cumbia, champeta, salsa and other music genres inherent to Colombian culture. 12:00 Kickoff festival (outside) 13:30 Film block 1 16:30 Film block 2 18:30 Film block 3 20:00 Picó-party (outside) 23:00 Cinema Colombiano Club Night (inside) 04:00 FIN A regular ticket (10 euros) gives you access to the film programme! A Combi-ticket (15 euros) gives you access to the film programme + the club night! The outdoor activities are open for everyone free of charge! The festival continues one week later, on the 14th of September, in Filmhuis Cavia in Amsterdam.
