EKC - European Kendama Championship (2 -days)

Wibar will be the scene for this year's European Kendama Championship! Kendama is a traditional Japanese sport over 100 years old. A subculture with components similar to skateboarding or yo-yo, kendama is a discipline filled with talented individuals and boundless excitement. What used to be a traditional sport has transformed into a freestyle discipline of infinite possibilities. The EKC has only had one edition before, the event was held in Copenhagen in 2019. The event was wildly successful, with ~100 people attending. This year we're expecting over 200 people, from a dozen different countries around the world! Some of the best kendama players in the sport's history will face off in a competition to crown this year's European Kendama Champions. Everyone is welcome!
