QUANZA is a Dutch-Surinamese artist, producer, guitarist, composer and musicologist. His musical journey began at the age of thirteen, inspired by the legendary Jimi Hendrix, after which he mastered the guitar. A few years later, he was captivated by the music of Flying Lotus, marking the beginning of his adventure as an electronic music producer. His musical style is characterized by an eclectic mix of live instrumentation and electronic sounds, ranging from experimental hip-hop to electronic jazz. QUANZA's music has already caught the attention of artists such as CARISTA, who invited him to contribute to the first album of the Utrecht record label United Identities, titled 'Modern Intimacy'. His debut track 'A Death Supreme' on United Identities was quickly picked up by Benji B, the music director of Louis Vuitton, who played it on BBC Radio 1. Shortly thereafter, QUANZA released his first solo single 'Neon Noir' and received rave reviews in leading magazines such as MixMag and Patta, and quickly reached half a million streams on Spotify. On Saturday, June 22, QUANZA will release his debut EP 'OPEN THE GATES' in Paradiso, after which he is ready to enter the global music scene.
