The word Saturo in Latin means “to Replete” or “to Satisfy”. The imagination can easily make you think of the word Saturo having a planetary or galactic meaning.

These combined meanings are the essence of what Saturo Sounds represents. We know, we understand, we replete and we satisfy the need to hear the best Underground House and Techno.

Every single artist and DJ of the Saturo family has incredible knowledge of underground music, genres and the history behind it. Add to that thousands of hours on dancefloors across this planet. The result is an abundant well of dance music knowledge from all those who take part on the air, recorded sets and our community of listeners.

This is all very obvious during the live streams and equally important chats happening simultaneously regarding the music being played. Our listeners are just as important to what defines Saturo Sounds.

Saturo Sounds was born on March 2014 as an idea of channeling an existing community on Facebook of DJs and dance music enthusiasts and the need to hear top class Underground Music.

Our Definition of Dance Music is simple and unwavering. We celebrate all forms of current electronica and don’t discriminate. If it’s quality and it’s underground, then it’s Saturo. We include sentimental past genres like Acid House, Breaks, Uplifting Trance and Drum & Bass. Anything with Underground beginnings from warehouse parties and raves. We also have our fingers on the pulse of all that is current in the Underground Music scene to include Progressive House, Tech House, Detroit Techno, Techno, Deep House and NuDisco.

Saturo Sounds offers exclusive shows of DJs from around the globe. We come to you free and without subscription or adverts. Our music will make you dance from all corners of Earth. Saturo Sounds Showcase - Opening Party Part I

For the ninth year in a row, the Metropole Orkest and Melkweg are teaming up to open the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). This year, they’re joining forces with DJ DBN Gogo for a special tribute to Amapiano, the hugely popular music genre from South Africa.  

DBN Gogo, whose real name is Mandisa Radebe, is a South African DJ and producer who has quickly become a major name in the music scene. With her high-energy performances and eclectic DJ sets, she wins over audiences all around the world. Amapiano, which emerged in 2016, is a vibrant mix of deep house, jazz, kwaito, and lounge music, known for its catchy piano melodies.  

DBN Gogo stands out by blending different styles within Amapiano. With her infectious energy and strong stage presence, she’s breaking barriers and inspiring a new generation of female artists.

Australian HAAi, German duo Modeselektor and Eris Drew from the US each stand out for their creativity and layered artistic message. German Danilo Plessow aka Motor City Drum Ensemble adds some of his Raw Cuts to the night.

Fully in tune with the famous DJ-Kicks releases, musical boundaries will be shattered by four new faces on the Het Sieraad decks while ADE is in full effect.

On Friday, October 24, the eleven-piece techno marching band takes over the NDSM Warehouse. Armed with nothing but brass, drums, and sheer energy, they strip electronic music from the DJ booth and bring it straight to the stage—and the crowd.

If you’ve seen them before, you know the drill. If you haven’t, prepare for something you won’t find anywhere else.

Doors open at 18:00, and the show wraps up at 21:30, so don’t be late.
