A new, colorful artwork by the British artist Morag Myerscough will be released this summer at NDSM, near the waterfront at the shipyard. Morag's work at NDSM is about what makes you feel at home somewhere, in this specific case, Amsterdam and Amsterdam-Noord. That's why she wants to know what this place means to you. How much do you feel at home here? During four interactive workshops, she asked visitors, residents and acquaintances of NDSM what this question and theme means for them. The results of the workshops are the inspiration for the final artwork at NDSM's Load-Out. Additionally, artist with words Mahat Arab will create a poem inspired by the artwork and the outcomes of the workshops. This poem can be heard and read as a spoken-word performance as part of the eventual art piece.
