Badplaats Sessions bring together a couple of hot tubs and a little sauna, cold drinks, live performances by a variety of artists, and an amazing view. Programme: Astronaut is the musical project of songwriter, daydreamer and amateur philosopher Pelle Bast. Astronaut’s songs are uncompromising and seek naivety in its best form. With humor and lightness grand themes such as sex, love and the cosmos are sung about, questioned and mocked. The Dutch texts testify to philosophical depth, delivered with Achterhoekse down-to-earthness. Live you never know what will happen because there is no script. But when Pelle brings his band along, you are assured of contrasts between fragile moments versus energetic drums and trumpet as an ear-catcher to blow your mind into summer! ✦ Astronaut will play three times between 12.00 & 18.00 ✦ Showtimes: 12.00 – 12.30 / 15.00 – 15.30 & 17.30 – 18.00 ✦ Bring swimwear & towels if you want to take a dip in the hot tubs ✦ Please us our showers before taking the plunge ✦ Badplaats is open from 12.00-18.00.
