Sprout Sessions After the thunderous success of this summer, the Sprout Sessions will continue! Every second Sunday of the month there will be live performances in the IJzaal of Tolhuistuin by local talents who want to present themselves to Amsterdam North. Like the garden concerts, these indoor concerts are also part of a talent development process that Lele Studios enters into with the talent. About Lele Studios Lele Studios started out of a sense of need for more space for talent that has not yet fully emerged. Even before you can participate in a pop round, or be part of 3FM Talent or be at Noorderslag, Lele Studios is there for you. Together we'll look at what's needed for you to take the next step, like performing outside your hometown or finding the right promotional material. About Sprout Sessions Through the Sprout Sessions we try to get our talents to reflect on their own art. We ask the acts to prepare a (semi) acoustic set instead of what they normally do. Last summer, for example, we had SaafVDG, who normally performs only with a backing track but was now going with a guitarist, and post-punk band Cardigan Inn. Who always storms the stage with loud violence, they were now on stage with a glockenspiel and acoustic guitars. We hear a lot back that playing acoustically leads artists to new insights and also makes them loosen up and think differently about music for a while. The Sprout Sessions are free to attend and is perfect for music lovers looking for new artists while enjoying beautiful views and a nice drink.
