Expect the two bands, Art School Ghouls & L’Air, to soundtrack the fantastic Sexyworld for one night only! The concerts are followed by DJ’s KFSM, Hodges Botanicus, and DNPS until the end of the night. The Art School Ghouls Invite For a night of delicious live music! Amsterdam based sextet Art School Ghouls along with their quartet friends L’Air from Rotterdam are sizing up the night with acid riffs, creamy licks and thick bass. Grooves of space thunder will be summoned and matched with vocals of equal reverie and splendor. The night will be bent into its wee hours by local resident DJs who will elevate you to the next level. Expect the two bands to soundtrack the fantastic Sexyworld for one night only! Their sound, which belongs to the era of early age rock and 80s prog rock, is celebrated with punk-ish overtones and titillating rhythmic variations. Thick bass lines, grooving space melodies and grimy break-beats are complimented with all-female vocals that persuade a dream-like state with the menace of lightning strikes to the head. Rotterdam-Amsterdam quartet L’Air plays experimental prog rock that has its roots in punk, post punk, blues and noiserock. Garage sounds, sweet melodies (that carry on) and jazz-like nonchalance coalesce the dark richness of Radiohead with the spirit of RHCP. Their music is a delight for those nostalgic ears that suffer too much from modern sounds: for lovers of complex rhythms and psychedelics.
