Discover the next generation jazz musicians with bands from the Conservatory of Amsterdam The Conservatory of Amsterdam is full of young, talented musicians with a drive to create and inspire. From May 23 till the end of June, every tuesday our stage will be the playground of these Rough Diamonds. Every edition two or more promising bands will perform, access is free. LUZ ft. Ketija Ringa Karahona LUZ is a jazz trio with a rock band philosophy. The trio consists of Ton Felices on double bass, Chen Har-Even on drums and Agus Fulka on guitar. This time joined by flutist Ketija Ringa Karahona, they will present orginal music that sounds like freedom, earth, colours, structures and love. Jonathan Dafgård Quintet Inspired by the liquidity and ever changing quality of water, the Jonathan Dafgård Quintet explores the blending of sounds in the modern jazz idiom, inspired by the sounds of the past. Organic development and independent progressions of voices are guiding the way as they look for new territory to explore.
