Draaimolen Festival is a 100% independent non-profit festival based in Tilburg, The Netherlands. We focus on creating the perfect symbiosis of music, art and nature. With a small, passionate team and a large community of music lovers, we offer an immersive experience that celebrates creativity over commercialism.

Across six stages set in nature, we showcase both emerging and established artists, encouraging experimentation and pushing boundaries together. Our goal is to give you the best festival experience possible and to articulate how passion can reshape the way we connect with each other.

Draaimolen Festival 2025

When the forest winds down at MOB, we’re carrying that energy back into the city. On Friday we’re linking up with GO!, a local collective that has brought UK‑inspired club nights into Tilburg.

GO! founders French II and Pyne lead the charge, supported by friends we’ve shared stages and basslines with all weekend. Think weighty rhythm, trembling bass and surprise back‑to‑backs. No frills, no big gestures. Just a good system, a trusted room, and people who care about sound.

On Saturday, we close the circle with Tilburg’s Capiche Collectiv. Known for their soulful curation and intimate approach, they’ll wrap up the weekend with a warm blanket.

Capiche brings warmth and depth through thoughtful track selection and a slower rhythm. Rather than going harder, we’re going warmer and more analogue, letting the music breathe with the room.

We’re excited to announce that Holy Pink returns on July 21st! And this year we’re linking up with Berlin’s Herrensauna, a punk-spirit collective tearing through the electronic music scene on their own terms.

After three memorable collaborations, we know exactly what this collaboration will bring: intensity that melts into intimacy, dance floors that turn to fever dreams. Let’s celebrate love together.

Holy Pink 2025

We know many of you were waiting for this specific news, so here we go..

The answer is YES, there will be an afterparty! Together with the local Capiche collective we’re bringing you 7 hours filled with highly danceable music to wrap up the festival weekend on Saturday September 7. Capiche will open the night with an 80’s boogie inspired, Chicago, Detroit and New York house set!

The Draaimolen team loves surprises, so the rest of this line-up will remain a secret until the very end. Rest assured, these artists will keep you going until the early hours as Krackfree Soundsystem will guide you to audio bliss.

Op 5 september vindt in onze main de kickoff plaats van een bijzonder weekend voor elektronische muziek. Het internationaal alom geprezen festival Draaimolen heeft dat weekend een ongekend sterke line-up op het MOB-complex staan, maar zal dit op de donderdag aftrappen met het bijzondere Openingsconcert in 013. Hiervoor is Willem (bekend van o.a. The Opposites) de headliner, eerder dit jaar bracht Willem zijn veelgeprezen tweede soloalbum Spuug van God uit, waarmee hij een nieuwe standaard zette met zijn meeslepende liveshows. 

Alle bezoekers van het openingsconcert ontvangen een limited edition 7-inch vinyl met drie exclusieve tracks die niet beschikbaar zijn in de digitale versie van het album. Dit speciale vinyl bevat ook een Ineffekt remix van de lead single van het album, "In Mijn Ritme." Er komen nog 2 acts bij om een complete avond aan te bieden.

The opening concert is always something special for us. The fresh energy of both the crowd and artists sets the tone for all the magic that is about to be experienced. Together with our friends from Poppodium 013 we’ll kick off the festival weekend on Thursday September 5!

Inspired by the lyrical prowess of legendary rappers and the vibrant culture of jazz, Portmouth’s Baby Panna creates deeply personal music with pulsating beats and soulful melodies. He’ll open the weekend with a live performance.

Willem will join us for this evening, bringing his acclaimed album ‘Spuug van God’ to life in a mesmerising live performance. Attendees will receive an exclusive 7-inch vinyl featuring three unreleased tracks and an Ineffekt remix of ‘In Mijn Ritme’.

On the Friday of our festival, Willem will transform his performance into a unique and one-off experience in our forest. In collaboration with Ineffekt, a night version of the original album will present a mixture of hip-hop and electronic music. We highly advice you to experience both!

As the night progresses, Safety Trance will craft a powerful and highly danceable finale. Born out of the vibrant Caracas scene of the 90s, his music blends everything from EBM, wave, hardcore and acid to techno and reggaeton. He’ll bring a dark energy to 013, fusing industrial beats with hypnotic rhythms.

Draaimolen is a dynamic event organization from Tilburg that explores the relationship between music and visual arts, and with its endeavors strives to blur the boundaries separating the two.

Since 2012, we have been organizing several indoor- and outdoor events each year such as our free-of-charge Holy Pink event, celebrating love and inclusiveness during Pink Monday, yearly Draaimolen x Nous’klaer gathering at Experience Island, multiple club nights and, of course, the annual Draaimolen Festival in September.

With every event, we take new challenges and risks, aim high and bring new projects and exciting collaborations to the table. By giving room to experiment for both young talents and established artists, we let them visually interpret what we stand for. Together, we transform spaces into unique experiences. As well as spotlighting emerging talents and inviting some of our favorite electronic music luminaries to our events, Draaimolen also commissions new live shows and art projects, while encouraging cross-border collaborations with organizations sharing our values at the same time. Having teamed up with Giegling (DE), Smoke Machine (TW) and Freerotation (UK) in the past, we always leave our doors open for new inspiring and thought-provoking visions.
