Jungly by Night returns to Rotterdam for a show in their beloved Maassilo on 30 December 2024. Pre-sale starts Friday 16 August 10:00 via Ticketmaster: https://www.ticketmaster.nl/event/308269 Jungly by Night is a seven-headed beast that is dangerously infectious; if you are bitten, you won’t stop grooving! The Amsterdam band consists of a lot of synths, drums, bass, guitar and percussion enhanced by a trumpet and trombone. From more brass-heavy earlier albums to a stronger focus on the electronic groove on their latest, they bravely go where no band has gone before and now find themselves in the goldilocks zone between analogue dance music, funk, Krautrock, 70’s funk and 80’s electro. In September, they will release their seventh album ‘Synergy’, a record that is driven by dance, groove, and towards more electronica. The transfer to a more electronically driven sound became a giant leap for the people on the dance floor.
