Our Sunday afternoon showcase is moving to Saturday night for our season finale on Saturday 22nd June. We have 4 international acts to entertain you including headliner Derek Sheen from the US. 

Our brand promise is that no two shows are ever the same, so we bring you a different line-up of comedians every single time.

𝗥𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗞𝗼𝗵𝗹𝗶 has fast become one of the most captivating acts on the UK circuit. As one of the few Asians to have grown up in the far north of England, he’s been blessed with a worldview that upends ethnicity, culture and class.
𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝗯𝘆 is a comedian from New York City. His smart and dark brand of standup is "button-pushing" and "funny" according to the NY Times.
𝗔𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘀 has been doing stand-up comedy without actually standing up for 8 years now, and it's time for that to change! So he’s attempting to do something he's never done before... Stand-up comedy, standing up.

The afternoon will be hosted by the Mad Cow herself, the energetic and bubbly British comedian, 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗻-𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴.
Join us from 2pm for drinks and socialising, hosted by the Utrecht Hub Meetup. Showtime is 3pm. The Utrecht is a fully accessible venue.

International Comedy Showcase - featuring Aaron Simmonds

𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
After their debut at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe, international comedian Nadine Froughi and two-time Funny Women semi-finalist Emily Higginson bring their powerhouse stand-up to Rotterdam. One of them’s mouthy, one of them’s broad—and both of them are funny as f*ck.

𝗘𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗻 is an American stand-up and sketch comic with a knack for turning everyday weirdness into onstage weirdness. A staple of the Dutch comedy scene, friends have described Emily as “kind of funny” and “average height”. Emily has described herself as “extremely funny” and “very tall”.

𝗡𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝗶 is a stand-up comedian. Half Iranian, half American, raised in the UK but now mostly Dutch, her comedy takes serious/sexy topics and makes them silly. Nadine is based in Amsterdam and aside from telling jokes, makes a really good shallot pasta and can deadlift over 100kg on a good day.

Our next show features Los Angeles-based comedian, 𝗝𝗼𝗲𝗹 𝗕𝗿𝘆𝗮𝗻𝘁 as headliner. Joel tours extensively throughout the US and Europe, has played with lots of big names in comedy and delights audiences wherever he goes with his translatable style, audience interaction and off-the-cuff energy!

𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝘆 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗵𝘆 is an award-winning Irish comedian, who began his comedic journey in the Netherlands. With a unique blend of satirical wit, Richy artfully merges alternative musical comedy with sharp cutting-edge stand-up.

𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝗞𝗶𝘁𝘀𝗼𝗻 is an “on the money funny” award-winning stand-up comedian, performer and writer who has performed across the UK, written for the BBC and Channel 4, as well as publishing online content with millions of views.

𝗦𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶 𝗠𝘂𝗸𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗷𝗲𝗲 is our new and up-and-coming talent. Originally from India and fresh in the NL comedy scene, Sra does a PhD during the day and tries to make people laugh at night! With some previous experience in theatre and improv, Sra delves into observational comedy wrapped in sarcasm and puns, sometimes tip-toeing the dark side.
