Soundwalk: Imagining the Current-Futurenow

Kandinsky had a close relationship with music, sound, and performing arts. Specially for the Kandinsky exhibition, interdisciplinary artist Søren Siebel created a unique soundwalk: Imagining the Current-Futurenow. With vocal instructions, soundscapes, and specially made compositions from five contemporary sound and one performing artist, the soundwalk creates an enchanting dialogue between image and sound. The capacity is very limited, as this intimate experience is for a maximum of 20 participants per soundwalk. Data: 21 June, 29 June, 27 July, 7 September, 17 October & 8 November 2024 Start times: 16:45 or 18:25 Practical information: Location: Kandinsky exhibition Price: € 22,50 / Museumkaart € 5,- / Stadspas € 0,- (incl. exhibition) Imagining the Current-Futurenow During this special soundwalk, visitors are guided through the exhibition while being immersed in a space of sound, movement, and image. Siebel brought together a wide range of diverse artists, both well-known names and emerging talent from the eclectic and experimental electronic music world.
