Football-inspired brand Lack of Guidance and Dekmantel Festival are happy to announce their very first collaboration. Three limited new items are now available through the Lack of Guidance and Dekmantel (web)shops and will be sold at the festival from August 5-7 as well.

Amsterdam-based label Lack of Guidance was founded in 2016 and has built a loyal following in the years after, focussing not only on lovers of football but also those in the world of fashion. Their permanent store (based on the Oudekerksplein 22 in Amsterdam) opened last year and is located in the exact same building Dekmantel set-up their first-ever office in 2012.

Launching a new collaboration between the two was only a matter of time. This new mini-collection covers three football-inspired items based on the designs of this year’s festival edition, including a Training Top, a T-Shirt and Shorts. All exclusive items are now available through the Lack of Guidance and Dekmantel (web)shops and will be sold from August 5-7 during Dekmantel Festival at the Amsterdamse Bos.

The lookbook photos are shot at the Amsterdamse Bos (the official festival location) by Eva Roefs and feature local artists from the Dekmantel Festival line-up, starring Zohar, Naone, mad miran, Cinnaman and Donald Madjid from The Mauskovic Dance Band.

The wait has been long, but the return is sweeter than ever: our full Dekmantel Festival 2022 line-up is here.

After a two-year halt, Dekmantel Festival finally returns this summer.

We’re delighted to reunite from August 3 until August 7 under the trees of the Amsterdamse Bos, and in a few beloved venues around the IJ river.  
Five days of performance in and outside of Amsterdam, occurring day and night, drawn from all corners of the musical spectrum – 120+ artists will be pushing innovative sounds and navigating the outer limits of their musical spectrum.  

Once again, we found a home for a roster of artists that spans wider than ever, spread across Wednesday’s tentpole Opening Concerts; Thursday’s extensive pre-programme of talks, film screenings, radio shows, club events, split across venues either side of Amsterdam’s IJ river; and the Friday to Sunday daytime festival, encompassing eight stages in the leafy, spacious and now-infamous Amsterdamse Bos. We can’t wait to explore it all with you.

Festival

For the first time, Dekmantel will run for 10 days, from July 26th through August 4th. More than 150 artists will descend on Amsterdamse Bos for the festival proper, running from Friday, August 2nd through Sunday, August 4th. ⁠

Dekmantel Ten will begin at Het HEM, a former ammunition factory in Zaandam, just north of Amsterdam. The likes of Bicep, Luke Slater, Aurora Halal and DJ Python will perform across three nights.⁠
 
The three-day programme at Amsterdamse Bos will include sets from DJ Sprinkles, Ash Lauryn, BADSISTA, CARISTA, DJ Marcelle, Mary Lake, Darwin & DJ Storm, Regal86, Steffi, RP Boo & SHERELLE, Veronica Vasicka, Suze Ijó, Elena Colombi and Ben UFO & Joy Orbison.⁠

#Dekmantel10 brings back all familiar festival locations from previous years but also branches out with three days at @hethemnl, a concert night at the @oudekerkamsterdam, and a football tournament at @skatecafeamsterdam. 

Pre-registration ticket sales begin on January 25th at 11:00 CET. 

Regular festival tickets (subject to availability) will be released on January 26th at 11:00 CET.
