Our mission is to enhance the well-being, mental health, and resilience of those within the public safety professions, their families, and the community at large through cross-training, education, and capacity building with the cooperation of behavioral health professionals. We are committed to providing innovative and evidence-based solutions that foster a culture of support, safety, and holistic care for those who serve and protect our communities within Arizona. We aim to assemble experts, leaders, and veterans from public safety sectors including: firefighters, police officers, crisis responders, correctional personnel, criminal justice professionals, emergency medical responders, and disaster response coordinators for training opportunities with behavioral health professionals. Cross-training between departments, as well as behavioral health professionals, are vital components of helping to identify the most efficient, effective and ideal ways to help and serve your community, each other, and ourselves. The two-day event will take place March 7th and 8th, 2024 at the Chandler Public Safety Training Center. The event will feature several keynote speakers. breakout sessions, training, and networking opportunities. Early bird rate is $75.00 for a full conference pass. After January 30th $100.00. Day-of $150.00. Sponsorship opportunities are available. (This conference is brought to you by the producers of the ASU Winter Institute for First Responder and Behavioral Health Cross-training. We hope that this new event can continue the momentum that was started by the University.)
