We are excited to announce that artist LIE NING will be performing at the Goethe-Institut as part of the project Slow Touring. This concept “focuses on counteracting fast-paced and fleeting concert tours. At each tour stop, LIE NING will have time to engage with local communities and collaborate with international musicians.” In a balancing act in between indie, soul and RnB artist LIE NING creates intense pop-moments and emotional pictures in dreamy landscapes with a sharp edge. With their highly anticipated debut album “Utopia” lined up, LIE NING opens the gates to a parallel universe and reveals a layer of their own numerous utopias. Led by velvet vocals and an intriguing intensity toward a place of deep emotional vulnerability, “Utopia” is a dive into one of the many facets of the artist. For those who are curious, Goethe-Institut is hosting another edition of their Listening Sessions featuring LIE NING alongside Amsterdam-based artist Astrit Ismaili.
