About

Peces Raros - a band formed in La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina and led by Lucio Consolo and Marco Viera - is characterized by its movement. Their sound, crossed by synthesizers, guitars and electronic textures, is driven by the desire to make people dance. Peces Raros proposes an in-continuous show in set mode, which dialogues in a transversal way with the forms of the digital era. With 4 studio albums released -No Gracias (2014), Parte de un Mal Sueño (2016) and Anestesia (2018) and DOGMA (2021)-, Peces Raros has participated in the most important festivals in the country such as: Baradero Rock, La Nueva Generación, Festival Buena Vibra, Festival Futurock, Harlem, among others and the most emblematic stages of the Argentine scene such as Niceto Club (CABA), Teatro Ópera (La Plata), Club Paraguay (Córdoba) and Club Tri (MDQ). The band began its career making music influenced by traditional Argentine rock (Charly García, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Los abuelos de la nada, Soda Stereo), and British pop rock (Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys, Gorillaz). From those times was born his first album: No Gracias; which had a great reception both by the audience and by the specialized national critics. With this album, after touring in different stages of the country, Peces Raros began to grow and generate their own scenes and stages. In a short time, the cuts of No Gracias ('Lupus Raye' and 'Algo en Vos') were assimilated by their incipient audience.
