Don Diego Trio (Rockabilly, Rock&Roll, Italië) Onze favoriete en sympathieke Italiaanse gitarist weer terug op ons podiumpje! “Don” Diego Geraci, after 20 years of continuous activity with the Adels, decided to put together his own trio, where the various musical influences, that have characterized his style, can merge in a unique show. So rockabilly, country, western swing, blues and rock and roll meet the typical “Italian taste” of the 45-years old guitarist from Sicily. The sound that came out is a mix of classic rockabilly, sixties country and honky tonk. You will enjoy the sound of a compact rhythm section, tight and always danceable, together with the virtuosity of the leader. Since then they recorded several albums, one in Austin Texas (called “Greetings From Austin”), one at the Sun Records Studios in Memphis Tennessee, toured 4 times all around USA and many other times in Europe. Also played with Dale Watson, Bill Kirchen, Deke Dickerson, Ray Campi, Marti Brom, Carl Sonny Leyland and many many others. Their motto is “Let The Twang Get To You”.
