Join us March 14-16, 2024 for the third annual New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University, bringing together the world’s leading authors for a multi-day celebration for book lovers of all ages. The festival features engaging conversations, readings and demonstrations that provide an opportunity for authors and readers to interact with each other in one of the most vibrant and culturally diverse cities in the world. The festival is FREE and open to the public with no charge for registration. The celebration begins with an opening keynote and welcome reception on Thursday, March 14th, and concludes with a New Orleans-style celebration on the evening of Saturday, March 16th. This year's schedule features a wide array of events, from thought-provoking talks with authors to immersive readings, instructive demonstrations, and the much-loved Family Day. Family Day at the Fest is a family-centered, free event with lively author presentations, book readings, book-related activities and a free book distribution. Family Day will be Saturday, March 16, 2024. Registration is not mandatory. The New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University remains free and open to the public. Registration is strongly encouraged as it enhances your festival experience and supports our mission to connect readers and authors in meaningful ways.
