The Comedy Talent Award auditions are here again. A hectic evening with lots and lots of new comedians (and lots more jokes). For many years now, the Comedy Talent Award has been the way for aspiring stand-up comedians to put themselves in the spotlight for the professional comedy circuit. The winners of the jury and the audience award can perform at the largest stand-up comedy festival in the Netherlands: the Utrecht International Comedy Festival in our beloved Dom city. But first... they must survive the auditions! The Comedy Talent Award auditions are notorious in comedyland. In one evening, the audience can see up to 12 comedians, ranging from complete beginners to experienced amateurs. The public decides who goes to the next round. A spectacular, strange, hectic and hilarious evening. Comedy at its cutting edge! Take note! On this evening you will therefore only see the very latest talents instead of the usual mix of starting comedians and experienced artists that you see at, for example, the normal open mic of the Comedyhuis Club. Just a little different, but just as fun!
