The idea for AMS Unlocked came to exist at a meeting of the AIM Party committee in October 2021. Very soon, we realized it would be impossible to host a music festival without setting up a massive network of different associations. Therefore, after months of preparation, AIM teamed up with JFAS, SEFA, VSPA and SES on the 21st of January 2022 to create AMS Unlocked: a music festival for over 1500 students (record breaking!) at Thuishaven on the 8th of June 2022. Our members can expect an interesting line-up on 2 stages with true professionals who are up and coming in the EDM/House/Techno genres to enjoy the biggest study association event there is! We set this up to provide our members with a well-deserved ending of the academic year; and of course to celebrate that we are back after two years of the pandemic! Furthermore, we are teaming up with several partner associations to ensure as much of the Amsterdam student population is covered as possible.
