Every Friday and Saturday we invite our favourite selectors to Canvas. Ascent to the seventh floor and enjoy a night with friends, food, drinks and good music! This Friday Canvas will be turned into the fictional island of the Sentinelese, where a tropical wave of musical charm awaits us. Because on Sentinel Island, the inhabitants seem to have eccentric party rituals, channeling pulsating percussive rhythms with ecstatic disco chants. If you want to know what that looks like, you’ll have to dock at Sentinel Island this Friday. Someone like Barbara Boeing or San Soda likes to go there too. For the entire evening, Sentinel Island Disco, known for their energetic performances, will fill the venue with a blend of sounds from the African diaspora, captivating disco, and infectious house music. With sets at festivals like Lowlands and Down The Rabbit Hole, and in local hotspots like the Schietclub, they are well experienced to take you on a journey through a night of warmth, dance, and unexpected musical twists.
