Would you like to learn more about the regulations over chemical weapons? For this month’s lecture, we have invited Ms Boipelo Motsi from the Embassy of South Africa in the Netherlands, who is responsible for OPCW (Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons) related matters. She will hold a lecture on the influence African countries have in these regulations, with a focus of South Africa’s role in the issue. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to hear more about her professional diplomatic career. This event is part of CREA student programming. CREA provides a stage for events by student organisations with a creative, social or cultural objective. SIB Amsterdam is the Dutch United Nations Student Association, a professional student organization officially affiliated with the UN. They are home to all Amsterdam based students that are enthusiastic about international relations and geopolitics. They generally organize two types of activities: intellectual activities and social such as weekly drinks.
