Efe Erdem

Step into the world of Trans Sahara Electro, where electronic beats intertwine with North African, Eastern, and Arabic sounds to create a hypnotic, multidimensional live experience. Under the artistic direction of Efe Erdem (aka DeDeXgrande), this groundbreaking project travels across festivals and stages in the Netherlands and beyond.

During the performance, Efe leads with live electronics, composing and improvising in real time, all while showcasing his virtuosic trombone playing. He is joined on stage by musicians from the Marmoucha Orchestra and special guest Aziz Ozouss, who add vibrant layers with vocals, percussion, guitar, and traditional North African instruments.

The musical concept draws inspiration from Efe’s deep fascination with the historical Trans-Saharan trade route, stretching from Casablanca to Cairo. While this ancient route fostered cultural exchange and diversity, it also carries a dark legacy—marked by the brutal history of the trans-Saharan slave trade. This duality—cultural richness and historical pain—echoes through the music, expressed through the unique interpretations of each musician.

Blending North African grooves, world music, and electronic rhythms, the Marmoucha Orchestra delivers a sizzling, innovative sound that’s as thought-provoking as it is danceable. Visual projections further enhance the experience, immersing the audience in a sensory journey through North African cultures. The result is a powerful fusion of music, imagery, and social consciousness—tackling themes like climate change and sustainability with both urgency and artistry.

After the live set of Trans Sahara Electro, the night transitions seamlessly into a vibrant club experience. Arabella Memdouh—named one of 3voor12’s “DJs to watch” in 2024—opens with a high-energy set that blends Arabic influences, psychedelic grooves, and electronic beats. She’s followed by Darno, known for his signature sound from The Gardens of Babylon and Café De Anatolia. Together, they’ll keep the energy high and the dance floor alive for an unforgettable, immersive club night.

SOBER is an Amsterdam-based, queer-led techno party. It was started by a group of techno lovers who were in need of a space to experiment, without the distraction of substances. The party proves that sober clubbing can be fun, exciting, sexy, and something to look forward to.

SOBER is for everyone who is interested in a sober club night. It doesn't matter if you're always sober or just want to experience something different for one night. The Sober Clubbing team creates a space to meet like-minded people, dance your troubles away, and be at peace with awkwardness. It’s the only party fully catered to the needs of sober clubbers. Notion, a key figure in the UK dance scene, has cemented his status with hits like Forwards and a viral remix of Chrystal’s The Days. With 13 million monthly Spotify listeners, he’s also behind the successful Dance Dubs project and tour, showcasing exclusive live edits and bootlegs. His recent DJ Mag HQ set premiered new music, further energizing his fanbase. On tour, Notion continues to thrive, selling out shows across the US and Canada and performing at major festivals like Glastonbury, Creamfields, and Hard Summer. Upcoming appearances include Coachella, Boiler Room Festival, and Parklife. Catch his Amsterdam debut at Parallel on Saturday, October 4th — support TBA.

After their sold-out headline show in March, DJ collective CHAMOS returns to Parallel on October 22 for a special show as part of Amsterdam Dance Event.

Known for their genre-spanning DJ sets that seamlessly blend Southwest Asian influences, bass, and percussion, CHAMOS truly embody their name—meaning "friends"—as they bring together diverse sounds and audiences. With members from Kurdish and Dutch backgrounds, their music effortlessly fuses traditional and electronic elements. Building on the success of their club edits series, which has garnered attention from DJs and artists alike, they have cultivated an organic and ever-growing fanbase.

CHAMOS - ADE

Islandman

Islandman are a live electro-acoustic trio from Turkey, consisting of Tolga Böyük, Eralp Güven and Erdem Başer. Their performances are a cross-cultural collection of shamanic rhythms, mellow electronic structures, dance beats and psychedelic guitar riffs, combining Turkish psychedelia and African roots music with the electric universe.

Islandman return this October for ADE following their fifth studio album release; Island5. Which marks their most refined and detailed work yet. Reflecting Istanbul's layered spirit, the album blends ambient textures, modal scales, and ceremonial percussions with a deeper, anaolog synths-driven sound. Defining a new realm they call Neo-Turkish Psychedelia.

PARDON links up with the bootleg banditz to celebrate 5 years of ec2a during Amsterdam Dance Event… and trust us, this one's for the heads.  

From dubplate delivery service to certified scene-shakers, ec2a has been holding it down for half a decade. Rewiring the UK underground with white-label bootlegs, pirate radio flavour, and warehouse-weight bangers. It’s only right we go full throttle with ‘em to toast the occasion proper.  

Touching down for this one: Bakey, one of the most in-demand UKG selectors of the moment; Dr Dubplate B2B Milion, bringing dubplate pressure from the source; Lala, known for her razor-tight blends and heavyweight club workouts; and our very own EYCEE, repping the Dutch underground with a sound that’s all killer, no filler. Front to back, this lineup’s built for maximum impact.  

Built on the ethos of pushing new sounds and championing raw talent, ec2a has become a launchpad for the new wave - giving a home to producers, DJs, and vocalists shaping the next chapter of UKG, breaks, bass and beyond. *Due to unforeseen circumstances, salute has had to cancel his performance at Parallel. Dan Shake steps in as one of the most versatile DJs the UK has to offer, seamlessly switching between Techno, House, Acid, and Disco.

With a never-ending tour schedule and his own productions in the record bags of countless established DJ heroes, Shake lives up to his billing. His love of groove – ranging from sparky acid to Brazilian samba, itchy funk to heavyweight house – fuels his drive to make those around him dance as keenly as he does. At a party, Dan Shake isn’t just loaded with peak time weapons: he is one.
